Refinished My Roofnest Sparrow XL
Spent the weekend going through the rite of passage that original Sparrow Roofnest owners go through at some point 😂. Happy with the finished product and to be not littering plastic anymore!
For those interested, I used:
- putty knife to scrap off plastic
- 80/120/220 grit orbital sander
- 3 24 oz cans of Raptor liner (could’ve gotten away with 2 maybe), sprayed with a rented 2.6 SCFM 195 psi air compressor
- half-face respirator (62023 3M) & goggles
Total cost: ~$200 (Roofnest did not pay for any of this, as they noted I was not the original owner of this Sparrow XL)
