Just finished building my first RG kit: some impressions
I’ve only built a couple HG’s so far, so I’m definitely still a beginner. Here are some impressions:
The jump to the RG is insane, opening the box and seeing so many runners and such a thick instructions manual can definitely be a bit overwhelming, so I tried to keep my cool and take it piece by piece.
It’s definitely a LOT. I can’t imagine what a PG or an MG is like. The instructions were thankfully very helpful and I noticed in both days I reached a sort of flow state when building.
I absolutely love this design and the amount of details and weapons it has.
Now I’m trying to get into painting. I’m not thinking of starting with this one, but rather with a HG or something. Do you guys have any tips? I’ve already got some panel lining paint, thinner, primer and matte/glossy spray.
