I formed a deep connection with a much older woman

I am a 22M. Around 3 months ago, I started having casual conversations with a 53F that I’d always see at a coffee shop I frequent. Whenever the two of us would see each other there, we’d sit together and talk as friends. This would happen most days of the week after I got off of classes.

As time went on we’d sit closer to one another, and the conversations would get deeper. She is divorced and hasn’t dated for years. She has no children. I don’t have many close friends, so the company we share has really made our lives better.

One day, she complimented me flirtatiously, calling me cute and saying it’s my obvious I go to the gym. She followed that, though, by saying she needs to exercise more and that she thinks her body isn’t slim enough. I find her beautiful and love her curves, so I told her that I find her body attractive, and from that point on we began holding hands while we talked. From that day on we also ended each “date” with a kiss.

Our dates have evolved from not only just meeting for coffee but also walking in a nearby park. This past weekend, we sat on under a tree and I held her in my arms while we watched the clouds. In that moment I realized that I’ve never loved a woman besides her. I’ve kissed girls before, but never shared a deep connection like this before.

She’s invited me to spend this upcoming weekend with her at her beach house now that the weather has gotten warmer. It’ll be the first time we’ve spent a night together, and I plan to tell her that I love her.
