I'm new to redeeming cruises on here, and I'm trying to understand this. I got the $1000 5-night rate. It says it's double occupancy rate, but does that really mean the 5-night cruise is $1000 + port taxes and fees for both or per person?

I mocked out the itinerary on the VV website and it came to almost $3600 for the same itinerary for two.
