my early pixel animation studies from years ago

these are from my first pixel animation attempt back in 2017–2018. then I stopped with pixels for years, though I stayed in traditional animation. Now, I'm diving fully back into pixels. I’ve posted some static samples the other day and I feel very inspired to dive back in this craft

traditional animator trying to learn pixel art part 2

hey! last time I posted here and you guys helped me a lot with my pixel learning journey! I bring new drawings that I tried to incorporate the tips I received from you. I feel it's still a long journey but I'll keep trying to improve! also I brought some roughts to show my way of practing and some procces. basically how I practice is redrawing the lines as much necessary until is good to my current skill level and perception. I usually flip and redraw, flip and redraw.

how do you guys do? I avoid to use "live reference" and by that I mean I prefer trying to remember how things are and I check after I finish and then I restart. Just like learning a new language, I feel like if I have the "answers" already in front of me, my brain absorves less of it. just my method tho, of course! would love to know how is yours practing methods!

thanks for helping me and next time I'll bring something animated to collect some feedback
