People talk alot about term limits but the real issue is we mandatory retirement age of 70 from all public office.

If anything our poltics has showed us the last decade or more is we need a mandatory retirement age. We don't allow 80yr olds to work remedial low skill jobs but we let them run the country ?

The idea someone coming in int their 30's and 40's should be automatically forced out is wrong. However the idea that you can be a full blown dementia patient and be setting policy for the country that you won't be around to reap the consequences from is just wrong.

Also these boomer polticians get hyper focused on their legacy with little to no regard for the world they leave behind. See Trump, you think he gives a damn about the world beyond 2028? He wants to be know as the man who toppled iran no matter the cost in lives, money, and our standing in the world.
