[PIC] Finally hung them up!!

For us stitchy folks, we're no strangers to projects that take years before we see them complete, and this has been waiting about 7 years.

When I first got into cross stitch I absolutely fell love with the filet crochet patterns from The Antique Pattern Library website and did several of my favorites. They sat in a corner of my studio until January 2025 when I finally mounted them all with foam board and hat pins, and found an affordable custom frame builder on Etsy. I bought unfinished frames, finished them myself with black and a soft gold, assembled them with hardware and backing... and left them in a ready-to-hang stack for over a year.

Today I finally hung them up. The thermostat was replaced after the wall was last painted, so now I need to either fix that blemish or commit to painting the whole wall a new color. Either way, I'm very very happy to say I finally have these loves on display in my home 🖤🩶🤍💜💛
