Leatherman Batch 005 and Arc
Hey guys, lmk if you have any questions. I also have a p4.
My batch is from 2021! And the blade has some discoloration that doesn’t seem to be finished all the way. Maybe a mark of it being a prototype?
Anyways. Super satisfied, this will be a daily for me. I like the tool set. Also, the hammer end of the batch has some dots of rust, just interesting. Makes me thing it was sitting for a while.
Had to breakmy arc in to get it buttery smooth (opening and closing pliers a ton), the batch not so much. Whenever I get a Leatherman I wipe it down, and then I use a lube (Hoppes gun oil) on anything that moves and has friction. I’ve been dailying the arc for a few years and it literally is fall apart smooth haha. Maybe once a year I get a toothbrush and scrub it with some mild soap. Then lube it up again.
Oh yeah, the point of this video is that you can still rock the tool one handed. I just slightly loosened it up a bit.
To be honest guys, the Arc is awesome. I highly recommend it to people. You’re not missing much at all on all the vault releases.
