Well like the title says, it’s official I upgraded after my like 10th cheapo PH Meter. I went with the Apera PH60 Model and it is on its way to me as I type this so I will let you all know how this thing performs and if any questions just ask 👍🏼 I git mine directly through Apera Instruments and it was just shipped out so they shipped the order out fast it seems. Fingers crossed this thing does all what it says. I’m so stoked and super excited 😜 😎

Stop buying cheap ph pens they all said from the very start. Well I should have listened long ago but then it was Blue lab vs Apera Instruments.. my honest thoughts.. and well if you add up all the ones that were junk and I trashed over the years I could have bought a few good ones by now 🤦🏼‍♂️ trust me it happens but you can easily avoid it by just getting a legit one from the start.

Whats everyone’s opinion on their favorite brand for ph meters and what they can do etc. And I’m talking about us home growers here not large scale operations nothing over 2-$300, and that’s pushing it just to keep it realistic for people who want to grow with the most precise measure readings and know they are going to be serious about home growing and will need one that will last them and not give them false readings and lockout their plants. You know a solid one that won’t break your bank and lasts.

I have tried about a dozen different models/brands and to be honest I would recommend any new home grower to go with Apera Instruments as far as the best bang for your buck and also for the most precise readings and they have way better customer service and I’ve noticed with Apera they do not seem to need as calibrated as much as a lot of the other brands. I'm digging their PH pen line they offer a few different tiers as far as what all each model does and can do and if it’s a life time one thats lasts forever and where you can just change the probes and recalibrate etc. rather than having to buy a brand new ph pen again you just buy the part you need. so cool!! shot out to Apera Instruments for making top top of the line quality meters at a much better and affordable price than blue labs.(nothing against them, just heard Some prettty bad story’s) Plus I’m sure it’s got a much better warranty.
