Finally got to listen to Act III. Tremendous!
My wife, my brother-in-law, and I have been Protomen fans since 2007. Seen them live multiple times. Got Act II as soon as it came out. Preordered Act III.
When Act III finally shipped, we planned to get together to have a first listen. Well, 20 years later and multiple kids tend to slow down the plan making process, but we finally got together on Saturday and listened. So, he brought his copy so we had multiple copies of the liner notes, and he took pics so the older eyes in the room could zoom in on them.
What resulted is my wife and her brother sitting together reading the notes, me reading my copy, and my 15- and 12-year-old sons reading the other copy of the notes. My 3 boys have literally been raised on The Protomen. Literally been waiting their whole lives for Act III.
Sitting in my living room with my wife, one of my best friends, and my kids listening to Act III was a seminal moment in our family. We've been waiting forever, and we were not disappointed.
