Yes, I know a manicure is not inherently gendered, but at least one place in Lynnwood that looked really good doesn't serve men at all. Also, I've been to salons where most of the nail techs didn't care whose hand they were working on, but then luck of the draw gets me the one random straight dude who basically needs to continuously mumble "no homo" while working on me, and it's exhausting.

I don't think I need anything fancy. I keep my nails short, but I admit my cuticles are a disaster. I do want polish, but no gel or anything.
