Buddy of mine just cut down what he thought was boxwood bushes but I’m pretty sure this isn’t that. I’ve only ever seen box elder or cedar with any color close it this. Coming from southern Appalachia

I’m sure this has been asked a million times but this lathe and chuck are new to me, any idea how to fix this?
