Let’s fill our empty vessels

With each others’ compassion

And kindness

And close the gap

Between everything between us

That which is spiritual

That which is sexual

And that which is habitual

And learn to observe and love

Each others existence

And experience

With nothing but tenderness

And joy

Knowing our lives will one day

Come to an end

And we have overlapped

in this time-space

For a moment, a teaching

To show what love and awareness

can do

When two prove themselves

And chose each other

Day and day through
