Which otome LI's looks you'd wish to have?

You see ever a good-looking LI and wish to look like him? I don't have much gender envy, but damn it, Yang from Piofiore is one handsome guy! If I looked like him, I'd never act right! I'd be making thirst traps left and right on TikTok and going on livestreams, earning that coin!

He doesn't have to be the most handsome otome LI there is! I just want to know if there are any men whose looks you wish to have for yourself!

Tsuchako Fanfiction Snippet! <3 Title: The Unexplained

Story: The Unexplained

by pastaketchupgecko

for u/DaxtheBadgermole

Context: Ochako is a lady's maid for Momo Yaoyorozu, the creation magician, and Tsuyu is a lord's maid for Tenya Iida. Both women's employers have married each other because it would be an advantageous marriage for both the Yaoyorozu clan and the Iida clan.

Ochako Uraraka was in a bind. Tsuyu Asui had caught her at the worst moment possible! How could she be able to explain herself without revealing the secrets of her mistress? The last thing she needed was to have her enemy besmirch the honor of their mistress, Momo Yaoyorozu.

.
.
.

Tsuyu Asui absolutely could not believe what she had witnessed firsthand. There she stood in all of her beautiful glory. Even with dirt staining her face, Ochako Uraraka was a vision of pure excellent beauty. The sight of her tending to the flowers would have been wholesome if not for the fact that she had thorns prickling her skin, and the thorns came from none other than the tiny peach tree that had the prettiest and most poisonous blossoms on the branches. The blossoms from that specific variety of peach had enough poison to kill a human being. It was not common knowledge, but those who knew a thing or two about chemistry, especially in all things poison and venom, would be well aware of its capabilities.

Tsuyu began, her voice rising with each word as she demanded, “What do you think you are doing? Has your mistress ordered you to poison my master, is that it? Well, not on my watch!”

Before Ochako could open her mouth to explain herself, Tsuyu had already leaped forward and tackled Ochako to the ground.

“I can explain,” Ochako choked out in between words, moving around from the hold Tsuyu had on her body.

Tsuyu glared daggers. “I think not! How dare you attempt to sabotage the family that has taken in my family!”

Before Tsuyu’s hands could brush against Ochako’s skin, Ochako kicked Tsuyu’s back.

Pleadingly, she said, “Listen to me, please!”

“Why should I listen to the wicked Yaoyorozu Yamaimo’s creepy Yaoyorozu Yubizaru who eats from her, huh?”

^(*Yamaimo: Japanese mountain yam.)
^(*Yubizaru: Aye-Aye, which is called a “finger monkey.” They’re creepy little things.)
^(*Tsuyu is saying Momo Yaoyorozu is not a beautiful peach blossom but a common and ugly Japanese mountain yam. This sort of crop is cooked and used for medicine, so it’s not like she’s saying Momo is useless per se, just not beautiful. Ochako serves Momo, and thus, she is the “finger monkey” that eats from the mountain yam. A servant eats based on what their master/mistress feeds them. Both women(the mistress and the servant) are being insulted here!)

Truth to be told, they were in an awkward position with the shorter and skinnier Tsuyu straddling over Ochako’s wide hips and Ochako having both of her thick legs held up in place by both of Tsuyu’s small hands.

Fortunately, their scruffle did not continue for long as an all too familiar voice bellowed out, “Oh my goodness! You two, I thought you were at it again, arguing about, but this is the last straw! I will have to send the two of you to be properly punished and thoroughly educated! You will be reformed at the end of this, I will make sure of that!”

There, standing in front of them, was none other than a seething and fuming Nemuri Kayama, the head housekeeper of the Iida family. Behind Housekeeper Kayama was Neji Hado, the assistant housekeeper who shook her head side to side, disapprovingly.

Oh, they were definitely in for it if the state of their soiled maid uniforms said anything.

To be continued...

What was in the air for 90s and 2000s shoujo manga?

I know how problematic these times were...But, they had such fun tropes, ugh! Does anyone else have anything they miss about the older works that didn't exactly age well?
