Hello all!

I’m a new A&P “ apprentice “ for helicopters, moved into this job by happenstance after 5/6 years in the automotive manufacturing industry.

I’m looking at either doing a crash course for the A&P ( 8 months-1 year ) , or just working through and going the full OJT route ( 3 years right? ).

I’d love some advice from some of yall with more experience in the field, what were pros and cons of school vs OJT? What are some tools you used as a beginner to learn without schooling? Should I even pursue the field?
