“Pop is a dirty word” - my thoughts on it

Idk if any of you have heard that phrase or some variant of it. But basically it describes this attitude I’ve encountered sometimes where anything pop or pop adjacent is considered juvenile garbage basically off rip.

I’m in a local scene that’s very rock, metal, punk, and jazz focused or atleast it comes off that way to me.

I stand in an interesting spot because I don’t really think about genre much when I make music. I just happen to have a knack for alternative pop with psychedelic elements.

I tend to get good praise from the dudes in the scene that I notice normally shit on pop music publicly atleast sometimes. I usually dread some of those guys showing up out of fear of embarrassing myself to the scene. But I get really surprised.

Idk, that’s just my experience with that sentiment. What are your thoughts? Does your scene have a similar vibe?

Also, to be clear. It doesn’t bother me or get in my way. I was just thinking about it I guess

My chill guide to making money if you’re a total noob and have little in your bank

I hadn’t played GTA online for some years, but recently got a console to play it and other games again. I made a new account and barely had any money and didn’t really know where to start.

This is what worked so far:

1 - no money to start with? switch between pizza deliveries (make sure to beat the heat timer) and quick joining heists.

2 - once you have 220K from this get a high end apartment for 200K and start the fleeca heist . Choose hard mode (avg pay 150K) . Once you do the 3 easy missions you’ll get set up to do another heist. I just cancel the next one and wait an hour to play fleeca again

3 - switch between the fleeca heist and pizza deliveries until you can start buying MC Businesses

4 - profit from the Mc businesses and spamming the fleeca heist should get you enough for a night club

5 - from here do whatever you want. You won
