I’m self employed and am going on mat leave in a few months. I was sure I’d have to just save money for the time I’m off but I saw somewhere that business insurance might pay something? I’m covered by ASCP.

I called ASCP and specifically asked about maternity pay, not disability pay, and they said no. But I’m wondering if anyone has taken disability pay from their business insurance for maternity leave and how that worked.
