1st pic - quite a bit of my mattress binder unraveled. Foot content freebie --- you're welcome

2nd pic - my first section of mending

3rd pic - my second section of mending. By this time I had learned some lessons and went in with a plan. You can see the difference in quality and consistency. Very proud.

Each of these sections took over an hour (I put a movie on and commit to mending for the entire movie.) The better-looking second section was more time consuming; you can see that it's much shorter in length. I have several more feet to mend. I set a goal to do one section a week.

If I had something like a thread stapler (Threadler™?) it would really speed things up. Do you think a stitch quick / handy stitch could handle this? Or a sewing awl? I'm currently using a large curved upholstery needle and holy shit is it tedious.

I am reusing the thread from the mattress but due to my ineptitude I will run out long before the project is finished. Any recs for heavy duty thread before I resort to dental floss? TIA

This is part rant, part LPT.

I needed to sell some tickets but couldn't do so without verifying my phone number. It showed the last four digits and I haven't had that phone number in YEARS. Couldn't remember the first six digits. I called support and they said there was no other way to verify my account without that phone number. They told me to call my friends and family to see if anyone still had that number saved somewhere.

I wrote into chat support and was asked to provide my name, zip, and last 4 digits of my credit card. If the zip is from the same era as that phone number, I've moved several times since then. I started to list all my old zip codes and then the chat froze.

I started a new chat and the agent almost immediately sent an email request to verify my identity through a third party service. I had to upload photos of the front and back of my license, and photos of my face facing forward, left, and right. Once that was processed (within minutes) I logged out of Ticketmaster and when I logged back in it asked me for my new phone number. From there I was able to update my zip code and then navigate to the sell my tickets button.

Rant 1: It was fine to PURCHASE several tickets over the years with an unverified phone number and outdated zip code, but not sell them. Okay Ticketmaster

Rant 2: Why didn't the first or second agent immediately send me the identity verification link? Why did I need to contact Ticketmaster three times? Why am I getting different answers from different support agents?

LPT: If you no longer have access to your phone number on file and can't remember the number, open chat support (I had to initiate a chat session about a specific ticket; I didn't see an option to chat with a live agent about account issues) and ask them to send you an email to verify your identity via third party. You will need valid ID.
