I have a few Push 2 (to different locales) and didn't really see the need for a Push 3 as I have a few MPE instruments and it's too big for my self contained/on the go situations. I do have an TE XY and OP1F and that is my mobile gig BUT I've used Live for years and wondering what a Move might add for me.

Think I finally figured this out but I gather you can't trigger any upper or lower sounds above or below the actual 24 available keys on the XY (changing the octave keys just changes the pitch of the sounds assigned to the keys). BUT, if you use MIDI, you can hit many other sounds. Try TE's drum presets as an example.

Wondering if anyone owns one and has used with an XY. I have the device paired via BT and setup to play (in System) on Channel 1. I have a default track with with a drum sound. What I play on the XY keys is not the same sound set when I play on the SMC. I matched the write notes (bass, snare etc) but it's as if its triggering some other drum preset. Ideas and help appreciated!

I have one of these and paired it over BT to the XY. No matter which preset or adjustments I try and make in the software, it oddly doesnt seem to work out as just a drum pad. I have Drums on the 1st track of the XY by default. I did set the MIDI option as to when using an External device to play the track selected (using Channel 2 for now). Any ideas?

None of us (it seems) every use the top 3 melodic step components. They always sound gimmicky to me. The rhythmic ones are great to work with and some of the first melodic ones are usable.

Thoughts?

Anyone have a personal reccomendation for a hard working student who is orignally from Ukraine, speaks great English even though it is indeed her second language. She's gotten close but really wants to make it this time and needs a pro.
