Race: incorrectly listed, we now know she was Asian likely of Vietnamese descent
Sex: Female
Height: 5'0" Estimated
Weight: 95 lbs, Estimated
Hair: Black. coarse, straight to wavy, approximately 17 inches long.
Eye Color: Unknown (likely black/brown given her genetic testing)
Distinguishing Marks/Features: Each earlobe pierced once. Black tattooed eyebrows. Red tattooed lips (entire lips).
10/10/2012 a body buried with lime (suggesting foul play) in the sands of South Padre Island FL weeks earlier is exposed by tide waters.

Missing: 10/3/2008
Estimated Age: 51 years old
Race: Presumed Thai or Vietnamese
Sex: Female
Height: 5'0" - 5'1"
Weight: 120lbs
Hair: Black, looks quite long from her photo
Eye Color: brown/black
Distinguishing Marks/Features: tattoo on left breast, no mention of cosmetic tattoos but her photo strongly suggests these, pierced ears
I think this could be a potential match because:
- physical description matches very closely
- My Dung appears to have tattooed eyebrows and lips
- My Dung frequented Mississippi to visit casinos, could have met many people from nearby areas during this time
- My Dung was thought to have secretly relocated to Lake Charles, LA, however this lead has never been substantiated
Some discrepancies:
- 4 years between disappearance and discovery of body. Body was thought to be weeks/months old at time of discovery
- large discrepancy between weights
- no mention of My Dung's tattoo on her left breast in DOE report
- cell phone records indicate she made a call at 3am October 4th 2008, and no activity after this
For the South Padre Island DOE the following have already been ruled out:
