Evidence-Based Peptide Protocols – How to Find the Real Standard?

I am researching peptide dosing protocols purely for informational and research purposes, because when exchanging information in communities and doing personal research, there are often many different opinions and conflicting recommendations.

A good example is Retatrutide.

Some people suggest starting with 1 mg in week 1, then increasing to 2 mg in week 2 and staying at 2 mg for a total of 4 weeks before adjusting further depending on individual response.

Other protocols recommend going directly to 4 mg after those 4 weeks, while others advise testing 3 mg first for a few weeks and only increasing to 4 mg later if needed.

Another frequently discussed topic is the half-life and the resulting injection interval. Some people recommend e6d (every 6 days), while others suggest e3d (every 3 days).

For my further research, what matters most is understanding what these different recommendations are actually based on:

Are there reliable studies, medically sound standard protocols, or official data that people should follow?

I am especially interested in how to find trustworthy information and how to distinguish between bro-science, anecdotal experience, and truly evidence-based protocols.

And not only for Retatrutide, but for many other peptides as well, I am interested in understanding the correct protocols.
