I'm going to Rhodes soon and I've just had a thought that there will be sharks in the ocean. I'm from England and we don't really see sharks on our coasts unless they're lost and massively off course, which isn't often! So sharks aren't really something I'd thought about until now..
Please can someone let me know the likelihood of encountering one? And also the types of species that could be there? I've had a look on Google and seen some sources saying there could be great whites and others saying there won't be. I'm honestly really scared of sharks and can't even really look at a photo of one without internally freaking out a bit. I'm really sorry if I'm sounding a bit dramatic, it's just a genuine phobia of mine that I'd like to be prepared for when I go instead of not knowing fully what to expect.
