Journeying through Middle-earth with my 8-year-old (New Players)

Hello everyone!

My 8-year-old son and I just started our journey in LOTRO yesterday. He recently finished The Hobbit and we’re currently reading The Lord of the Rings together, so I thought it would be a wonderful experience to actually explore the world we're reading about.

He’s playing a High Elf Champion, and I’ve rolled a High Elf Minstrel to support him. We are taking things very slow (no rush to level or optimize) just enjoying the atmosphere. We’re currently working through the prologue and picking up any side quests that catch his eye. He’s having a blast, and so am I :)

Does anyone have tips or advice on "must-see" spots for a child, fun side activities (like festivals or music), or things we should definitely make sure to do (or avoid) as we explore?

Thank you!
