Setting out from around Okotoks, looking for a few 1 to 2 night backpacking trips away from the campsites (frustrated with the booking website). Would like to get to the trailhead within a 2 hour drive.

I've been out of work and on disability for quite a few years. I really need help figuring out returning to work without jeopardising my disability during the process. I need help finding out the type of work I can pivot into, navigating any retraining, and being successful in the long-term. Whilst ensuring my benefits if I am unable to make a return.
It feels like any action I take, retraining or even volunteering, will jeopardize my disability payments. I'm very scared to take any action, but I also need to improve my quality of life. I could really use advice and help.
I've tried social workers and few different organisations, but it seems trying to move away from disability is an unknown roulette and no one has answers.
