Securing a pendant light from wind
Looking for suggestions on securing a newly installed pendant light from heavy winds. I am in Ventura County, California. Previously, we had a light mounted on a chain that swayed a crazy amount. I thought getting a fixed mount light (perhaps foolishly) would solve the problem but the new light still sways. I know I may have to go with a flush mount light but before I pivot, I would love any ideas on how to secure this existing light. Whatever the solution, I will have a professional execute it. Note: it also requires a slope mount, which complicates things a bit. Thanks for your input!
