I had my LEEP 2 hours ago 😲

I just wanted to say, I was extremely nervous, stressed and couldn't even sleep last night. I went in and was shaking. I cried to the practitioner before my procedure which was very embarrassing.

The procedure was very quick but I was scared which was the worse part. I have so many tattoos and piercings plus my ex partner destroyed my soul 🤦‍♀️ so pain wise, my threshold is very high. I felt a little pinch/burning kind of sensation when the local anaesthetic was injected. It wasn't as bad as I thought and for me, wasn't painful.

After the local anaesthetic was applied,, I kept talking about my ex (again embarrassing) and the procedure was done quickly, like in 10 minutes or less even. The noise was almost like a vacuum cleaner when she was removing cells.

I went on my own and drove to the hospital. I drove back and even went to the corner shop after to buy bread.

I think the overthinking and build up of what could happen at the procedure was worse than the actual treatment.

I will wait and see what happens in 24 hours and 3 days and in a week.

Currently in bed as I have a day off work today. Watching Stranger things again.

Anyone who has treatments booked, if you are in the UK I would say take Ibuprofen and Paracetamol 1.5 hours before the treatment. The only thing you may feel is the injection. This depends on individual. I didn't feel it bad.

Good luck and hopefully I won't have to go through this again and I hope no one has to go throught it ❤️
