Cleared 3 rounds at JP Morgan campus placement, one candidate already got offer letter, I'm still waiting - is this normal?

So I recently went through a campus placement process at JP Morgan for a Trust and Safety Officer role. 18 people applied, got shortlisted to 8, then 6, then 4. I made it to round 3. One of the other candidates got selected the same day as her interview and received an offer letter the next day. Meanwhile I've been waiting with zero update. HR said "will update you soon" ,and tomorrow is literally the 7th day.

For context I have relevant internship experience in physical security, worked at a major international airport, and conducted a security audit at a critical infrastructure site. Not a completely blank CV.Only thing I feel went slightly wrong was a few voice breakdowns during the interview - nerves I guess. But I completed the entire conversation and answered everything.

My questions: -Is it normal for companies to select candidates one by one with this kind of gap?

-Should I keep waiting or just move on?

-Has anyone been in a similar situation where delayed response turned into an offer?

Genuinely not sure if I'm still in consideration or just waiting for a formal rejection at this point. Any advice appreciated.
