As a fan of both the comedic masterpiece by the Coen Brothers AND plush Labubus/Lafufus (& puns), I felt the need to create The Big LABUski, a plush homage to The Dude. (I’d been dying to insert the plushie into the movie poster—The properly dated and tagged pics follow immediately after first pic.)
I found a new, slightly larger Lafufu to transform. His size is slightly larger than the standard 17cm, measuring at 20 cm (7.75 in) from the top of his ears to his three clawed feet. His width is 13 cm (5 in) from paw to paw.
His brown fur is luxuriously soft (actually softer and plushier than his licensed kin.)
“The Big LABUski” wears a miniature version of The Dude’s iconic outfit from the movie poster:
- 1974 Pendleton Weatherly Sweater.
(I found a tiny mirror image of the famous sweater pattern and sewed the sweater by hand.)
Groovy Patterned Pajama Pants.
Plum colored T-Shirt.
Brown Sandals.
Cool Aviator Sunglasses.
Ash Blond Wig (styled to resemble Jeff Bridges’ fabulous locks).
Ash Blond Mustache and Goatee.
Comes with the same putty used by owners of Ball Jointed Dolls to position BJD eyes. You can actually re-use the facial hair and sweater on a fashion doll, if you like! (Note that doll in the example photo is _not_ included.)
- Tumbler of The Dude’s Favorite Beverage, a “White Russian” with “ice cubes.”
