10 years in MedTech, field experience with Robotics & Six Sigma—Why is my inbox empty? Why am I not getting any interviews?

Hey everyone, I’m hitting a wall. I have a decade of experience in the Biomedical sector, specifically in high-stakes environments like surgical robotics and ultrasound (Mindray, Esaote). I’ve managed multi-site operations, led CRM migrations to Salesforce, and I’m Six Sigma certified.

Despite a track record of 99%+ system uptime and leading regional service marketing events, my applications for Customer Service/Service Management roles are getting ghosted.

Is the market just that saturated for Service Managers in India right now?

Am I appearing "overqualified" for standard Customer Service roles?

Be brutal—what’s stopping a recruiter from calling me?

Should I be pivoting my resume toward more clinical operations or project management?

10 Years MedTech Field Ops (Surgical Robotics/Six Sigma) — Looking to pivot into LSHC Consulting. Is my profile a fit?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some perspective on my profile. I’ve spent the last decade in the Biomedical/Medical Device sector, most recently specializing in da Vinci Surgical Robotic platforms and high-end imaging (Mindray/Esaote).

I’m currently a Field Service Engineer II, but my role has evolved into much more than "fixing machines." I’ve handled:

Project Management: Led regional CRM migrations (Salesforce) and managed multi-site service operations across Maharashtra.

Process Improvement: Six Sigma Advanced Certified; drove 99%+ system uptime for critical surgical infrastructure.

Stakeholder Management: Engaging with hospital CIOs and CEOs (including Tier 1 Hospitals) for CMCs and service marketing.

International Training: Specialized technical training in Japan for sterilization and CSSD audits.

The Goal: I’m aiming for a Senior Consultant or Manager role within Deloitte’s Life Sciences & Health Care practice—specifically focused on Service Operations, Supply Chain, or Tech Implementation.

My Questions:

Does Deloitte value deep "in-the-trenches" technical expertise for their LSHC implementation tracks, or do they prefer traditional MBAs?

I’m currently looking at a Scrum Master certification—would that carry weight for health-tech transformation projects at the firm?

For those in the India/US offices: Is my 10 years of industry experience seen as an asset, or will I be "leveled down" because I lack prior Big 4 experience?

Appreciate any brutally honest feedback on the resume!
