Yesterday I was riding straight and a car turned left into me. I was going about 22mph and tried to brake once I realized the car was definitely not stopping for me, but couldn’t stop fast enough and the front of the car hit me on my side. I went up on the hood.

I called 911 for a police report, they sent an ambulance, and I went to the hospital for CT, xray, etc. I have no broken bones, just lots of scrapes and deep bruises. I don’t have my bike back yet, it’s at the police station. It’s carbon and didn’t look cracked, but the handlebars are aluminum and might be bent. The person that hit me has insurance.

Where do I go from here?
