Im inpatient in a medical setting, but its not super important to this post. I was just sitting in a group when out of the corner of my eye I spotted this dvd laying on a bookshelf. I just found it ironic considering that this movie vs Nolan odyssey has become such a prevalent discussion across social media/youtube etc..

Definitely going to watch it tonight. Excellent film with a monstrous cast. Immortality, take it, its yours!

This is a somewhat somber but somewhat hopeful post. I'm heading for a 5 week stay, in a therapeutic capacity, that will not be well fueled. Rehab. Im going to rehab. Halfway there. Brought the certina, seiko srpe, miltado ml07, and f91w to help keep me grounded. I know a lot of people don't get it when I say that watches keep me grounded, but grounding is actually a very successful and common practice in behavioral healthcare. Thats actually the part of this that hurts the most.. ive been a counselor or similar for about 10 years, and this is like my 5th rehab in about 20. Good news is its a ritzy veterans affairs rehab in the mountains, so I can still trail run, and keep my watches. I can also keep my phone which is debatable if its good but I need something to do in downtime. Idk the book situation there.

Anyways. Watches rule. They have genuinely helped me to cope in many ways over the years.

The hype is real. I just got in this militado ml07 from Amazon. It was 55$ The specs punch far above its weight. I recently had the Hamilton 33mm quartz and spec wise the miltado is better. Ive had 3 hamiltons and have kept zero. I threw it on an Amazon khaki canvas strap. I might get an olive erikas for it which is funny as the strap will be double the cost of the watch. Anyways overall I am very impressed and recommend these.
