A couple Mark Martin 1:64 grails
Mark is one of the greatest NASCAR drivers ever, and getting to witness his late-career resurgence with Hendrick Motorsports during the 2009 season when I was 10 made a lasting impression.
I was able to score his 2009 Kellogg’s/Carquest paint scheme for $23 shipped on eBay. This car usually goes for $30 or more, it’s always nice finding a slightly more obscure piece reasonably priced.
The 2012 #55 Aaron’s Dream Machine is just a dang good looking car! I have a distinct memory of watching the 2012 Pocono 400 on TV and thinking exactly that. The MWR cars always looked great.
