In the market for a performance SUV that’s also reliable.
Hello everyone, I’m in the market for a performance SUV that’s reliable. I currently have an Infiniti FX50S which I love and would keep if the mileage wasn’t an issue. It’s now At 165K miles and I know it’s a matter of time before serious service makes it not worth it. The specs when this came out was solid and for the most part in class if it wasn’t for branding. 5.0L V8, superb AWD, I know it had a 50/50 torque split but because it’s based on the Infiniti G sedan platform, a majority of the power is sent to the rear which makes for better handling, active rear wheel suspension, etc. I’ve owned the car for years and the only expensive maintenance was a new radiator and Misfire. I don’t want an X5, GL, or any of the Audi SQ SUVs because no way am taking those to 100K miles. I would love a grand Cherokee SRT but those are getting stolen left and right. But I keep seeing these. Anyways, anyone’s experience? Has this vehicle scratched the performance/suv practicality and features itch?
