2019 B9 S5 sportback has a rattle that can be heard faintly while idling but gets really loud while accelerating I attached a video. Took it to the dealer. Dealer said to pinpoint the sound they have to take the whole dash apart, about a 6hr job thatll run me north of $1200. I have audi pure protection (platinum) and the service advisor said theres a chance audi pure wont cover this so I took the car back because I dont know if I can swing $1200 on a chance. My audi pure expires in June. The noise sounds like its coming from behind the cluster. Anybody have this problem before? Is there a way to pull the cluster out with some trim pieces without disassembling the entire dash? Thanks in advance for any suggestions or tips!
