Help creating simple flow for smart blinds

I have a simple BILRESA dual button from IKEA, hoping to control some blinds.

Everything's set up and ready to go, except I'm stuck on the logic. Help greatly appreciated 🙏

I'd like to be able to raise the blinds w a single press of the top button, but pause / interrupt the motion with a second press of the button. Same (opposite) for the bottom button.

I can get the blinds to raise and lower, but only completely.

Any suggestions? Hoping I'm missing something simple...

Our ancient (2014) Roomba is a disaster, in the market for a new buddy.

A large portion of our house is a tiled atrium-type space, with area rugs, and... sunken flower beds with giant trees growing in them.

Obviously it's an unusual situation, but our dining room is in this area and with three kids it's a constant crumb explosion. I'd love a robot vacuum to run over the tile & rugs every night, optionally mop the tile, and importantly not fall into the flower bed holes.

I'm willing to sacrifice other qualities to prioritize detection capabilities — can anyone recommend something that might work? I had my eye on the Narwal Flow 2 but 🤷‍♀️

Budget flexible, the ants are coming for these crumbs and I'm desperate.

I'm new to Homey, but have been muddling my way through smart home tech & automations for a few years. I've just successfully installed Switchbot curtain rollers to close curtains (which cover windows that reflect intensely against our TV) and am looking for a simple way for my husband to trigger them.

Ultimately our TV will be concealed in a cabinet with sliding doors, and I can have sensors on the doors that trigger the curtains closing whenever the TV is accessed; for now, I'd be happy if he could pick up the TV remote and tap an NFC tag on the back of it to close the curtains. He has a Pixel 10 Pro XL and the latest Pixel watch, if that's relevant. I've read that Android phones require unlocking before they can trigger anything via NFC which is a bit annoying, but I know from experience he's unlikely to use a widget on his homescreen so I'm looking for as seamless a solution as possible that won't make him resent my over-engineering 😃

Can anyone ELI5 how to get started here? Order cheap NFC tags (are any ok?) watch some NFC + Homey YT videos (any recommendations?) and get on with it, or are there options I'm overlooking? Thanks so much.

UPDATE: Thanks to some brilliant inspiration from these comments, I found success with the Sony Bravia Homey app — now turning the TV on and off triggers the curtains seamlessly 👏
