have any of you dealt with valley fever in your shar pei? i took her to the vet today for lethargy and while i couldn’t afford the test, my vet has a hunch that she has it. i will be going back after i get paid on friday to get the official test done, just trying to keep her comfortable for now.

what are your experiences with valley fever?

i’ve had my dog for about a year, and recently have wanted to get more serious about her training and building a stronger bond with her. i taught her to sit pretty fast but it is hard to lure her into anything else, her recall needs major work, and she isn’t that food motivated. her frustration threshold is really low. she is also blind so that is another reason she is particularly challenging to train.

i was just hoping to hear some success stories from you guys, or if anyone has advice for working with a low drive dog that would be awesome!
