Edit: thank you everyone! I've decided to start roasting and steaming more veggies so I can focus on only one pan and the veggies can go to autopilot.

I have started cooking daily again, except for pizza Fridays, and I've been having a hard time with portioning out vegetables. I also prefer hot meals at night.

How do you suggest making a conscious effort to cook more greens?

It's funny, because what I cook would be enough for two people if there was a sizeable side salad. But I don't have the energy to prep and season a salad. My lunches are often more green than not, so there's that. I will provide pics of my recent meals in the comments (apologies, I couldn't post multiple pics per comment).

So my campaign took an interesting turn, I ended up taking the Iberian coast and letting the Lusitani take the interior, we have a military alliance and I know they're going to fight me at some point. I'm about to take Carthage next turn, we had peace for a few years, but the damn Iberians are blasting through Africa.

I usually don't do this so early, but I also took lower Gaul part of middle Gaul. Funnily enough, the Iceni got kicked out of Britain by another tribe and are basically screwed in a few turns.

The Germans launch the occasional strike into Northen Italy and I repel them and keep liberating the neighboring settlements. But I think I'm just going to take Noreia and liberate from there.

Now, you'll notice I'm not in Macedonia... the freaking scythians came down and kicked me out while my legions were elsewhere and almost took all of Macedonia and Greece until Rhodes showed up.

So... if I want back in, I have to go to war with Athens, the Daorsi, and the liberated Hellenic faction all at once (they are super aligned). Rhodes is essentially the mid-game baddie and I'm not going against them until I have fully developed all my regions.

Messy, am I right?

So it's the time of the game where my champions have enough experience to mske decent money travelling and I send them out to explore the provinces. I send one to get a peak at Gaul and Iberia and the other goes to east until I meet the Parthians and then comes back, in a loop. What I saw sucks, and it's only turn <100.

I already knew Carthage was strong when they took out Massilia no sweat. But Carthage basically controls all of Iberia, and I just them two-stack the last Arverni settlement. There's only two Iberian tribes left. Also, the Iceni have basically taken over everything west of the Rhine and all of Gaul, they border Carthage. I'm at least surrounded by friends to the east and the North, but the Leugoz have all of Germina.

I'm about to take Corsica. I finally have a shred of naval superiority, for now. What should I do next? Blitz it to Africa with the annoying Numidian tribes, or go to Spain and after taking the coast, liberate the interior, and then take North Africa. My economy is going fine, great if I use export food in Latium and Syracuse. I make a ridiculous amount of food at home.
