I’m noticing an odd behaviour with iOS after updating to 26.5

Every time I compose a new message from the top right of messages, pulling down from home screen & hitting the messages button for bdays, or composing from a contact page the message will try to send as an SMS or RCS. Even when I know the person has an iPhone & isn’t travelling.

It’s very annoying as the only reliable way I can get an iMessage to send is by searching for that person in Messages & sending a message from the existing thread. Anyone else experiencing or noticing this?

Looking for two tickets to this event if anyone can’t make it or has any leads!

I recently moved to W95th & Columbus but can’t find any BNG on Facebook for this area. I left my old one that covered W 107th.

Any tips or leads? Been super helpful with the move & consolidation.

I was laid off in Oct 2025 from a company that had 401K with Fidelity. There’s about $110K, all pre-tax, in in a 2060 fund.

My new job starting next week does not offer a 401K plan of any kind, so what would be ideal options for the old account?

I have a Roth IRA with Schwab with around $96K in it & intend to max that. I’ve heard I can roll the 401K into a Trad IRA but I think last time I did that I got screwed with contributing to my IRA bc of the pro-data rule? I have $0 in my Trad IRA but the account is open.
