Should I take him to the vet?
this is my stinky boy. His name is Stink. He’ll be a year old in June. I go to bed at 10pm everyday because i have work at 8am and choose to wake up at 6am. All that to say yesterday i let him out his cage at 9pm because we were gone for a good portion of the evening meaning he didn’t get a lot of play time. Another thing you need to know is i live with my bf and his brother and a mutual friend. So we each have our own pet. I have my stinky boy. We know what we should and shouldn’t leave out bc we love our little critters. Last night out mutual friend left what i’m going to call mexican “koolaid” mix out. it’s like koolaid but a mexican version. He left it out on our living room table which we know Stink can jump onto. Last night my bf comes to me at 11pm maybe 12AM and tells me Stink got into the whole mix and and is “cracked out” which i imagine is bc he’s never really had sugar like that. I was very out of it so my bf said he cleaned up the best he could but his face is still tinted a little pink and his paws are a deep red bc of the mix. I asked him if he had gotten mad at the mutual friend and he said he tried but he was high and simply said “i tried to pull it away when he got into it” and my bf said “so you left it open with a spoon in there?” and he just laughed it off. our friend doesn’t hardly get high but when he does he thinks everything is funny. This is the next morning (today) and he seems to be acting fine his poo and pee are colored normal. I just don’t know how much he got into to. and i also don’t know whether to give him a bath. i want to try and only give him 2 a year since i heard giving ferrets too much baths like you would a dog or cat isn’t the best for them. but wipes weren’t working. And i also know ferrets get sick from everything. I just am worried i’m assuming he’s okay when maybe there is something i’m overlooking. Let me know what yall think..
