Depressed over my GPA…What can I do

I had planned to apply to medical school after nursing school (awful idea)… I’m in year one and my semester one GPA wasn’t the greatest it was roughly a 6.0/12 which is honestly my fault, as I had trouble adjusting to uni, my second sem gpa is roughly a 10.0/12 so far… anyways my first semester is absolutely dragging down my GPA. I was unaware that McMaster nursing has “pass or fail” credits for clinical which basically means I have 34 credits I cannot use towards my gpa. I attempted to calculate the absolute highest GPA I can receive and I’m capped at a 3.7.

I’ve cried at least 5 times today, and I feel so

helpless. Does anyone have any advice on what to do?

Also in the case you are wondering why I chose nursing, and not some program like health sci or life sci it was honestly just for the guaranteed job.
