Help! "Better Weapon Impact Visual Effect" not working despite exhaustive troubleshooting

Hi everyone,

I’m having a persistent issue with the "Better Weapon Impact Visual Effect" mod (by Halrixx) on Xbox. Despite trying every standard fix, the enhanced impact sparks and debris simply don't show up in my game.

My Load Order Context:

I’m running a realism-focused setup that includes several other visual/FX mods:

HPE series (Better Rifle/Pistol/Old Earth Smoke)

Gorefield & Enhanced Blood Textures

Everything I have tried so far:

Load Order Placement: I’ve moved the mod from its recommended position to the absolute bottom of my Load Order (even below Real Lights Starfield).

Conflict Testing: I disabled Gorefield and Enhanced Blood to see if they were overriding the impact nodes. No change.

Particle Budget Check: I disabled all HPE Smoke mods to see if I was hitting the Xbox particle limit. Still no impacts.

Clean Install: Deleted the mod, performed a hard reset, and reinstalled it at the bottom of the list.

Hard Reset: I’ve cleared the console cache multiple times (powering down and unplugging for 30s).

Surface Testing: Tested on multiple surfaces (metal, rock, flesh) and in different lighting conditions (interior/exterior).

I am still seeing the vanilla impact effects (or sometimes none at all). Has anyone encountered a specific conflict between this mod and other visual/FX mods? Or is there a known issue with this mod on the current Xbox version of the game?

Any advice or "hidden" tips would be greatly appreciated. I really want those realistic sparks to work!

Thanks in advance! :)

Looking for "Buy & Fly" Ship Mods with high-detail, pre-decorated Interiors

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for ship recommendations that are ready-to-use Standalone models. I want to avoid the Ship Builder for a while and just buy a finished vessel from a technician that is already fully functional and detailed.

Crucially, I am looking for high-quality, pre-decorated interiors. I want the ship to feel "lived-in" and immersive (clutter, realistic living quarters, logical layouts) without having to manually place items using the decorator tool.

Thanks for your help!

I've tried different load order settings but nothing seems to work. The ground stays "flat"..

Has anyone else tried to get this mod to work and has been successful?
