God. The difference between Pan Yinhu and Lucia is night and day.
For context, I was one of those players who doesn't have Lucia. My reasons were:
- It didn't make sense for me to pull for her before I even got Banyue. I didn't have any other Rupture Agent besides Manato, who I did not use.
- I did not have a Guarantee and had just enough to pull for Banyue and his W-Engine.
In this latest Shiyu, I struggled a lot with Stage 2 with just Banyue. Did a lot of party member shuffling, see who works and who doesn't work, resetting till I get the mob wave right, etc. Every reset gave me about 20k-24k score which was super frustrating. Somehow RNGesus blessed me with 26k with Koleda and Zhao after failing a million times with Pan, and I had to try that party setup a couple of times too.
Now with Lucia's long-awaited rerun, I finally got her. I tried Shiyu Stage 2 again with Banyue, Koleda, and Lucia.
Instant 30k. First try. No struggles. I almost fucked up the mob wave too because I forgot how the waves spawned.
I was like "WHOA". This was what was missing from my Banyue all this time. All I needed was Lucia. I remembered all the time I was using Pan Yinhu and remembered the frustration with resetting, Pan's whiffed attacks, Pan's slow ass Chain Attack, Pan's slow ass sprint, Pan's slow ass counter, and I wondered to myself how many other people are enduring the Pan strugglebus just because they did not have Lucia.
So yeah. If you are a Banyue enthusiast and you still haven't got Lucia. Get her now. Pan is cope and is not up to par.
