When someone asks your favorite color, most people answer instantly. Like it’s a core personality trait. “Blue.” “Black.” “Green.” No hesitation. But when did we even decide that? And why does it almost never change?
I truly think a majority of us do not mean it when we say a certain color is our favorite. I think it’s a weird societal pressure lol. As kids we get asked constantly: favorite color, favorite animal, favorite superhero, and eventually we just pick one and keep repeating it until it becomes canon lore about ourselves.
