Small room guitar recording
My room is about 8×10, and I’d like to run my amps at a solid volume while recording guitars. What are some good options for miking a 2×12 cabinet in a space this size, while still being able to monitor through headphones or monitors? Would gobos make any noticeable difference in a small room like this? And are there closed-back headphones that can block out enough of the amp to be useful while tracking?
