Scaphoid lost in the mail. . .
Scaphoid 2 looks awesome. I was happy that he went up for sale, but my lovely partner went the extra mile and bought the con exclusive version for me off ebay! Wicked excited, that extra head looks awesome.
Two weeks later, no word. My partner reaches out to the seller. He says its lost in the mail. What are the chances that the super expensive hard to find exclusive figure gets lost in the mail. . .
So, the seller issued a full refund. Probably for the best; My partner was paying a pretty exorbitant amount. Now the only listing on ebay are for like $200+.
Oh well. The regular version is still up on storehorsemen so I snagged him there. Not the end of the world to miss out on the extra head and wings.
Just wanted somewhere to vent my disappointment, as I had unintentionally gotten my hopes pretty high. I'd hate to make my partner feel bad over this as they were going above and beyond and it just didn't work out.
Anybody got any stories of disappointment to share?
