About two years ago I was working on a mod for EFBB to try and add controller prompts. I only managed to ever do the tutorial text and abandoned the project as I no longer have a Deck, but people ask about it from time to time so this is a release of what I had for anyone to use.

Download this and drop it in Assault on Dark Athena's install directory and agree to overwrite. Then in steam's controller settings bind F1 to a paddle to see the tutorial text (B exits them in-game)

The game has a very simple keybind and is short enough that this should get you through the whole game. If you want to use it as a base for Ogier engine research and/or to finish it off, credit is appreciated. :)

Notes:

• Textures are not altered as I had corrupted files back when I was working on this. u/salitoshater seems to have a promising fix for anyone who wants to finish it; replacing the E keyboard icon with a Y button and F1 with a paddle would fix almost all of the remaining problems.
• Dark Athena's tutorial prompt wasn't altered, but shares the same controls.
• I did try experimenting with having overlapping keybinds within the games files to have a match with console (Help prompts on console are B/O) but this prevents cutscene skipping.
