I 25M (150 lb) got a corneal abrasion on one of my eyes, and it got infected with conjunctivitis. I got prescribed an antibiotic ointment and have been using it for the past week, since I went to the ER.

Now here's the problem the pain is actually unbearable, I've been taking Tylenol every 3 hours because I cant make it to 4 . I cannot take sick days, I am broke, and I do not have insurance.

So to recap about 1500 MG Tylenol every 3 hours, about 9000 mg a day. I just googled a little bit ago because I thought I exceeded the dose a "little" bit. And the results told me I could probably experience liver failure in the next few days.

So basically if I stop taking Tylenol now, will I avoid liver failure, or can I switch to ideprofen?
