
I purchased a NordicTrack Commercial 1750 treadmill for £1,999 in August 2024. After only 18 months of normal domestic use, the frame snapped and the treadmill became unusable.
An independent engineer confirmed the machine is not repairable due to structural frame failure.
What has been most disappointing is the customer service experience. Despite repeatedly explaining that my complaint relates to my statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, I have received multiple responses referring only to expired warranty terms and product registration requirements.
I have now had to escalate the matter through the formal complaints process.
I’m sharing this so other buyers can make an informed decision before investing in premium fitness equipment at this price point.
