Hey there, I’ve recently finally kicked myself into gear and started creating on YouTube. So far, I’ve put out 8 Shorts and one longer video.
I’m focusing on no-commentary content—something along the lines of ASMR or just silent videos. I’m not entirely sure how this niche will perform, as people often expect a voiceover for certain topics, but it’s a relatively unconventional concept.
In any case, I’ve noticed that nowadays, everyone just wants to churn out brainrot, get monetized within 10 days, and pull in at least $50k a year from what is essentially stolen or reuploaded content. Because of this, it feels like there’s no longer much room for beautiful, slow-paced videos.
Why is everyone watching cringe content like 5-Minute Crafts, where 90% of the 'crafts' are totally useless and impractical?
