I‘m honestly not in a good head space after this residency cycle. Phase I, Phase II, and even scramble now all have been unsuccessful.

Seeing so many “We regret to inform you” or “We have decided to give the position to another candidate“ amongst other phrases has just taken so much out of me. I’ve been spiraling downhill believing that I’m not qualified, competitive, or even smart enough as a candidate.

Is it even worth trying again next cycle?
Where do I go from here?
Should I be realistic and just stick to retail and just disregard my goals now?
